La 9e Vie is a Mexican/Canadian Cirque company that was founded during the pandemic to present several small projects that were created as a collaborative effort between Claudio Carneiro, Veronica Herrera Munguia, and Didier Stowe.
Music, dance and humour, are three core elements our company strives to implement in the circus industry.

Claudio Carneiro is a clown and actor known for several collaborations with Cirque du Soleil. Among them are: "Varekai", "Love", "Banana Shpeel" and "Joyà". He has also worked on the creation and execution of Franco Dragone's "Le Rêve".
Other great partnerships that stand out include Cia. La Mínima, Parlapatões Patifes e Paspalhões, Doutores da Alegria and Le Chiche Capon (France). Claudio also worked on the prestigious film “O Bicho de Sete Cabeças” by Laís Bodanzky and on television productions such as SNL Brazil, Solstrom (Canada) and others.
In his 26-year career, he traveled the world with his sketches and shows winning criticism and praise from the public and the press, with his borderline yet innocent humor. He has now commenced the co-founding a new circus company with some former Cirque du Soleil colleagues in Riviera Maya, hoping to bring more presentations worldwide in the near future.

Didier Stowe transitioned to circus after a highly decorated competitive trampoline career, to become a diversified artist, participating in a wide range of creative projects as stage performer and musician.
As a professional acrobat of the highest caliber, he took part in some of the world’s most prestigious festivals, namely the “Monte Carlo Circus Festival”, where his troop was awarded ‘bronze clown’, and ‘Prize of the Public’. He went on to work for reputable companies such as “Les 7 Doigts de la main”, “Cirque Eloize”, and “Cirque du Soleil”.
His passion for music persisted while on resident show “Joya”, where he recorded two full length albums in Montreal’s “FastForward Studios”: signing with “Love Cat Music Publishing” (New York). Some of his compositions are scheduled to featured in the independent film “Big America” (2022).
Now, Circus and Music further converge, as Didier co-founds “La 9e Vie” with friends and co-workers of Cirque du Soleil, providing a unique visual and sonar experience.

Veronica Herrera Munguia was trained in classical ballet in one of Mexico’s most prestigious arts program. Born in Cancun, she graduated from “La Escuela Superior de Musica y Danza de Monterrey” in 2012 and went on to present in celebrated performances such as “Cats Mexico, the Musical”, “Perfume de Gardenias”, and many others. After touring Europe and China, she returned to pursue an avenue in contemporary circus arts, working for “Humanicorp”, “Rauxa”, and “Cirque du Soleil”.
It was on resident show “Joya” that she developed a new-found love of aerials. Her dance background was invaluable when creating an act that presented in Spain’s “International Circus Festival of Albacete”.
In early 2021, she choreographed the 45-minute show “Manik”, that would go on touring Riviera Maya with 51 representations in various venues. In 2020, she embarked on the creation of a new circus company, “La 9e Vie”, with the goal of further sharing her creative capabilities.
