mANIK
Manik is a 45mins show created in early 2021 in Mexico's Riviera Maya, and adapted to tour in "Palace Resort's" wide range of venues.
The show's concept is inspired by the resilience of artists; depicting a living room setting and expressing the need to perform in spite of the pandemic. It also reflects our longing for community, sharing ideas, and forming relationships.
From January to March, a troop of 4 artists performed 51representations before a variety audiences, in different out-door and indoor theatres. The show was praised for its humour and ability to caricaturize what the whole world is currently experiencing.

found stranded
"Found Stranded" was one of 9 short films created under the context of "Laboratoire" by Les Improduits, in November, 2020.
The selected contemporary circus companies were originally asked to present a short-form show at the TOHU, but the project transformed to a video caption in light of new pandemic restrictions.
In collaboration with Haut Vol Entertainment, Thomas Chambers, Shannon Gelinas, Didier Stowe, and Veronica Herrera Munguia, produced a 10min version of their original concept, which represented a group of performers stranded after a crash, rediscovering their love for the stage. The reel included acts such as trampwall, aerials, and group choreographies, while fully accompanied by live music and original compositions.

Quarantine sessions
These sessions are a series of outdoor videos, filmed in both Mexico and Montreal. La 9e Vie undertook a series of projects to their art through music, dance, and circus while quarantined. They wanted to challenge their versatility and show it was possible to continue creating within Covid restrictions.
